Dr. Monica McCall is an entrepreneur, leadership coach, business developer and a nonprofit leader. Monica is an industry expert in driving cultural change within organizations. She cares deeply and is committed to the opportunities of businesses and individual to serve, grow, innovate, and most importantly continue to care for various communities.
As the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Coach Approach Partners she has extended her leadership experiences and first- hand knowledge of capacity building techniques to leaders across the country. Her experiences extend further supporting leaders through modeling and teaching coaching mindsets and skillsets to leaders in multiple systems of care. Dr. McCall is a Certified Professional Diversity Coach. As such, she prides herself in supporting diverse groups of leaders as they discover their “authentic self” and design a person authored plans for cultural change.
Dr. Monica McCall is the former President, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Creative Options, one of Maryland’s premier community -based provider organizations. She also sits on the Board of the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals. For over 30 years Dr. McCall has been able to combine her non- profit leadership talents with her executive leadership, business expansions, organizational development, and coaching skills. She has led the nonprofit organizations through start up, survival, and growth modes and has supported the development of many leaders of the organizations.
Dr. McCall serves as a board member of the National Association of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP)and as the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Maryland Association of Community Services (MACS). She has been a keynote speaker and presenter at several MACS and NADSP events. She is keenly aware of the needs of Direct Support Professionals as essential frontline workers and aims for their continued development, growth, and success.
Monica holds a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Coppin State University and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from the College of Notre Dame University. She is a recipient of the Doctor of Philosophy in Human Services with a specialization in Management of Nonprofit Agencies in the School of Public Service Leadership from Capella University.

Ellen B. Kagen Waghelstein is on the faculty of Georgetown University and Director of the Georgetown Leadership Program, a national learning and consultation effort on effective leadership and change management in complex systems change and community transformation for professionals and civic activists. She has over 25 years of experience training and facilitating at the national, state and local levels. Ellen is also serving as senior leadership faculty for the ACHARAI fellowship program of the Shoshanna S. Cardin Leadership Development Institute.
Ellen holds an MSW in Social Strategy from the University of Maryland, a Certificate in Leadership from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. She is a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Program and thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and innovative team.

Beth Greenland PCC has over 35 years of experience in leadership development, facilitation, organization development and coaching in both the public and private sectors. Beth developed the original Coach Approach curriculum in concert with the Atlantic Coast Child Welfare Implementation Center in 2010 and she and her colleagues have been building on this initial training to build coach approach skills in human services organizations. Beth gets great joy by offering this transformational curriculum to human services professionals across the country. She particularly loves training trainers to implement the curriculum in their own spheres of work and building Coach Approach Coach Mentors to be internal champions and change agents.
Beth is a Certified Professional Coach and she served on the faculty Leadership Coaching Program of the Institute for Transformational Leadership at Georgetown University for 10 years. She has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science. She is the proud parent of two sons: her oldest son Andy has a metabolic disorder and a developmental disability and is served by Penn-Mar Human Services, and her younger son Alex is a partner at Coach Approach Partners.

Alex Greenland has been working with organizations and government agencies since 2012. Alex collaborates with clients at Coach Approach Partners to develop programming that meets their needs, whether it is knowledge growth, professional development, sustainability efforts, coaching, or facilitation. He loves to see clients take on The Coach Approach to further materialize a future of better working environments in their own unique ways. His work and and presentations have been featured in The United States and abroad.
Alex has a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from American University. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Organization Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University. Alex was accredited as an ICF certified coach in 2015.
