Creating Coach Approach Champions and Sustainability in Community Services

We launched Project Excite in 2023 to build internal champions of the Coach Approach in five Maryland providers of supports to people with developmental disabilities.  We have certified 26 Coach Mentors at all levels, from VPs to Direct Service Providers, who have the mindsets and skillsets to foster a Coach Approach Culture in their agencies.  Project Excite Coach Mentors receive monthly seminars, 6-8 coaching sessions with a professional coach, learning circles, and Adaptive Leadership training - and the program cost is shared across agencies.

We will offer Project Excite every year and agencies in the developmental disabilities arena - and other human services agencies - are invited to send a team to engage in this exciting leadership development opportunity!

Annual Gathering of Coach Mentors Across the Country

Beginning in 2024 we are inviting all of our Coach Mentors across the country to meet at our annual Coach Mentor Gathering.  Our Certified Coach Mentors will meet their colleagues, share successes and challenges, exchange best practices, build their coaching skills, and co-create a network of colleagues committed to the Coach Approach.
